• Positively impact the firm’s municipal business line nurturing current relationships and developing new ones.

SSM is currently recruiting for a mid-level Mechanical Designer with at least seven years of experience in the design of HVAC, process piping and plumbing systems in industrial, commercial, and R&D facilities. Responsibilities include the mechanical design of HVAC and other building systems for higher education, healthcare, data center, and industrial projects. We need a good communicator because you will be involved in several projects at one time, involving several team members.

Spotts, Stevens and McCoy is currently recruiting for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our Facilities Engineering team to develop solutions and designs for a wide variety of building projects in the industrial, research, and municipal construction sectors. Working collaboratively with our Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers on multi-discipline studies, the structural department investigates existing building structural systems, components, building envelopes, on planning, design and construction documentation of new and older structures. You will work on many diverse projects, both large, complex projects with a seasoned team, and small projects where you’ll be encouraged to work independently under the mentorship of senior engineers. Our team rarely works on “cookie-cutter” projects, relying on creative solutions for unique challenges.

This position offers the opportunity to lead projects from concept through construction, guide technical staff, and maintain trusted client relationships. You’ll work on a balance of municipal infrastructure and land development projects, contributing your expertise to designs that make a lasting difference in the communities we serve.

Spotts, Stevens and McCoy is currently recruiting for a Survey Technician who will operate all field surveying instruments, including robotic survey instruments, GPS surveying instruments, and auto-levels. In addition, the Survey Technician will learn to download field data to be used in preparing AutoCAD drawings in Civil3D.

SSM is currently recruiting for a results-driven, motivated individual to lead the strategic and tactical implementation of SSM's Surveying and Data Capture business.
