Senior Municipal Engineer
/Spotts, Stevens and McCoy is a family-owned, regional engineering firm looking for a Senior Municipal Engineer with 15-20 years of experience to join our growing team.
Primary Responsibilities
Design and manage stormwater management and traffic/transportation projects.
Manage municipal road improvement projects, including bid and construction phase.
Represent municipal clients.
Coordinate the review of Land Development Plan review process.
Positively impact the municipal business line at SSM by nurturing client relationships and developing new ones.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Licensed PE in Pennsylvania; other state registrations, especially DE and NY are a plus.
15-20 years of experience in municipal engineering; at least 5 years of experience as a primary representative
Superior written, oral, organizational, and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to present technical information in front of large groups at municipal meetings.
A proven track record in developing new business and enriching existing relationships.
Demonstrated ability to complete projects on time; managing budgets and resources available to satisfy client needs.
Skill and interest to manage a variety of diverse assignments and within required timeframes.
Ability to establish, maintain, and cultivate exceptional relationships with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Background in stormwater management and traffic/transportation
Experience managing municipal road improvement projects; reviewing development plans; attending public meetings.
