Survey Technician

Spotts, Stevens and McCoy is looking for a qualified individual to perform field surveying and office tasks associated with day-to-day data collection and processing responsibilities. The Survey Technician will operate all field surveying instruments, including robotic survey instruments, GPS surveying instruments, and auto-levels. In addition, the Survey Technician will be trained to download field data and prepare AutoCAD drawings in Civil3D.

Requirements: high school graduate; valid PA driver's license; ability to use Microsoft Office and data processing software, including AutoCAD Civil3D; strong math skills. Associates degree in Surveying Technology and SIT preferred. Experience is preferred but not required. Must be a fast-learner and willing to work outdoors in all conditions. Experience with robotic total stations, auto-levels, GPS equipment and high-definition scanning instruments is a plus.
