Spotts, Stevens and McCoy is actively recruiting for a Graduate Civil Engineer (EIT) to join our Municipal Team. Typical projects involve working with a multi-disciplinary team to help local and regional public and private sector clients to solve infrastructure challenges. The Graduate Civil Engineer works with engineers and performs due diligence, engineering calculations and design, and technical writing. Typical assignments include preparing escrow spreadsheets, assisting with plan reviews, road project design, Erosion and Sediment Control, Stormwater Management design, traffic engineering and field support.
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
A passion for making a positive difference in the communities where we serve and where we live
Related engineering work/internship experience preferred
Strong knowledge and experience within AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office
Strong self-motivation, communication skills (verbal and written), leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks on multiple projects keeping strong attention to detail
