presenting sponsor: SPOTTS | STEVENS | McCOY
Learn what you can do to make Berks County greener thru simple, everyday choices.
The Berks Conservancy has taken on the first comprehensive state of the environment report for Berks County. Through this report and in associated programs, the Conservancy seeks to raise awareness of conservation choices that Berks County residents and institutions can make that will improve the environment. The report evaluates specific data and trends in five environmental categories: Air, Energy, Land, Water, and Waste. Within each category, several specific quantitative indicators are evaluated using available data, trends in the data are assessed, and specific action items that resident can practice to make each specific indicator more 'positive' are identified.
