West Chester International Short Film Festival

At Work in Our Community: Supporting our employee volunteers

The acclaimed West Chester International Short Film Festival will celebrate its Fourth Year from April 24 - 27, 2008 with an exciting mix of independent short film from amateur and highly regarded filmmakers from all over the United States and Canada, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia and of course, from right here in Pennsylvania. The festival will once again span film genres to include animation, comedy, documentary and drama selections to entertain, provoke and stimulate regional audiences. Located in the historic town of West Chester in the heart of Chester County, Pennsylvania, the film festival is thirty minutes from Wilmington and forty minutes from Philadelphia. This year the Festival will present one hundred independent short films, thirty minutes or less in length. Submissions will be juried by a panel of industry professionals and selected based on content, innovation and technical execution. The four day event will include film screenings throughout the downtown area, special film blocks for children and teens, interactive workshops and social events. The WCFF is a premier cultural arts event in the Philadelphia region and expects to attract over 4,000 attendees in 2008.
